GATEWAY THEORY -triptych

Gateway theory triptych is a research to natural and human laws, wisdom and ability to discuss.

PART 1:  Cum hoc, ergo propter hoc

The 1st part approaches gateway theory with farmer expression methods. 

​

Materials: Text, machine grease, garage door​

The text (installed and written at a garage door) 

 

"There is no gate. Wisdom walks ahead of us at the horizon. When following, we acknowledge that each step is as essential as useless. If the horizon can't be reached, why to follow?  At this stage I take a deep breath, because the thought is a wide as the life is long. Why wouldn't we serve the best visible interest? Why follow the one that escapes? Today, as it's ok to be a little selfish, it's hard to be just a little wise. Often the one, whose few is somebody else's everything, is not willing to give a bit. At the same the one, whose  few is somebody else's nothing, is willing to give everything. The few is a seed. We sow and harvest each day. Wisdom is one. Life is a path. To know the path, one should look ahead, to the sides, to the back and each day within oneself."

​PART 2:   Wisdom is a horizon

Materials: Gaze, thoughts

The 2nd part of the triptych is a performance/ installation at Kukoistus Eternal garden next to a rock, where one looks at the horizon

Materials: Hemp leaves and buds, jar

The 3rd part of the triptych researches the substance that is used as an instrument of power.
